I have been following this salon for several months, as I was looking at making a dramatic change in my hair color. My hair color was very very dark brown and lacked dimension and depth. As I checked out the website over the last six months I noticed Meghan’s work, and I liked what I was seeing. I went in for a consultation and she really listened to me. I shared photos of hair colors I liked and those I didn’t like. Wow, was I impressed with her recommendations. I came back about two weeks later and she achieved the depth and dimension my hair was lacking… she is truly amazing, passionate and very professional! Thank you Meghan for an amazing job!

After searching far and wide on the internet for a stylist who does color and gives layered curtain bang cuts it brought me here to Tay. Having Tay as my stylist was incredible. Not only is she pure talent but her personality shines. She is very kind and sweet! I've never had my hair colored so thoroughly before. I feel like for an all over black color most stylists just do general cover up but Tay pays attention to detail. She made sure every strand of my hair was colored to perfection and as someone who has lots of gray hair this made me so happy. She also slays with her cuts. She gave me the most perfect curtain bang layered haircut with the best blowout. I never understood how to blowdry my own hair and she quickly taught me how to, which was appreciated tremendously. Tay is extremely talented and skilled. I never felt like I had a "hair girl" I could rely on and feel confident with but I definitely found my official go to worth waiting for stylist. I had the pleasure of getting a full highlight by Meghan and her associate. When I first came in for my consultation, Meghan was extremely transparent with the whole process and price break down. You can tell that she really cares about her clients and doesn't want to cause any unnecessary damage to their hair. I previously had dark red hair and the red tone kept creeping up no matter what I did but Meghan managed to get rid of the red undertone. She and her associate were extremely thorough and friendly throughout the entire process and often checked in to make sure I was comfortable. They gave me exactly what I wanted. I am so glad that I chose Special FX salon and Meghan!
